Welcome to my website! I have created this blog for my students and to share with others. I love reading other teacher's blogs and think it is a great way to communicate with parents. 

As for me, well I am a certified  Canadian Teacher from Toronto, Ontario. I have taught in Korea, China, Quebec and most recently Halifax, Nova Scotia. I have a Masters degree in TESL and a Bachelor of Education.

I also have an undergraduate degree in Media Studies with a diploma in Journalism. 

I pride myself on creating dynamic, hands on lessons for English as a Second Language (ESL) students so that they are engaged and inspired to learn more. I also enjoy exploring and using technology in the classroom, as well as using manipulatives such as block letters, real life objects, and board games. However, I believe one of the most important ingredients in a successful classroom is passion! With this is mind I try and build my lessons based on my students interests and needs so that we may have a great time while we learning together!
