By the end of Grade 3, students will:

C 2.1 demonstrate an understanding of the importance of good oral health to overall health, and assess the effect of different food choices on oral health.

Reviewing Venn Diagrams

Today we learned about comparisons. We read the story: I Am the Dog I Am the Cat by Donald Hall.

Perma Bound School Library
This story is about a dog and a cat that live together but who are very much different. The students described the dog as "friendly but needy" while the cat was described as "independent but rude." What characteristics would you use to describe these two pets?

We compared the characteristics between them by using a Venn Diagram.

Venn diagrams are used to compare and contrast information to show the similarities and differences of two things or topics.
